Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern all quotations, services, installations, rentals, and transactions
provided by Expert Technology (Pty) Ltd. By accepting a quotation or engaging our services,
you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Warranty
- 3-year warranty on all CCTV equipment
- 1-year warranty on PBX systems
- 2-year warranty on copiers
- All power requirements on-site remain the responsibility of the client
2. Pricing
- All pricing excludes VAT unless otherwise stated
- Prices quoted are valid for 7 days from the date of the proposal
- All prices are subject to a final technical site survey
3. Call-Out & Support Fees
- R850 call-out fee applies where no service agreement is in place
- R600 per hour thereafter
- R6.50 per kilometre travel charge
4. Service Level Agreements
- Service Level Agreements escalate by 10% per annum
5. Insurance
All installed equipment must be insured by the client through their insurance provider.
Expert Technology (Pty) Ltd will not be liable for loss, theft, or damage after installation.
6. Rental Agreements
- Rental values are calculated with escalation over the agreed rental term
- Rental agreements escalate as per negotiated escalations
- Rentals are payable in advance upon completion of installation
- All rentals are subject to financial approval
- A once-off documentation fee may be charged by the financial institution
- All financial information is treated with strict confidentiality
7. Payments
- Cash transactions require a 50% deposit upon order
- The remaining balance is payable upon completion of installation
8. Delivery & Installation
Please allow up to 14 working days for delivery and installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Cancellations
A cancellation fee of 25% will be payable on all cancelled transactions.
10. Existing Equipment
Unless specifically agreed to in writing, quotations do not include the settlement of any
existing rented or financed equipment.
11. General
- All terms are subject to change without prior notice
- Errors and omissions excepted (E & OE)
By proceeding with any quotation, order, or service, you acknowledge that you have read,
understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
